September 2010: Labor Day is fast approaching us this year! Stitches Midwest was
wonderful and I look forward to the show next year. In a few weeks, we will be heading to the Shenandoah region of Virginia for
their fiber show. Hopefully, at the festival, there will be cooler temperatures. It's still hot in Georgia.
I am real excited to announce our latest additions to our product line. These include some exquisite gemstone
shawl pins that I have paired together with a stick pin which has a Swarovski ® bicone crystal element on the end.
I have been searching the web and found some beautiful stones from all over the world. Our other addition to the line
are Swirl Shawl sticks made of very durable polymer clay. These are great items to accent a beautiful shawl.
In addition to the new product introductions, I just bought a kiln for glass fusing. As I destroyed
my first microwave kiln, I took some classes and will start tinkering with it when I get some time. Update: I can't play with my kiln until the weather is cooler as it's in the garage!!!
